ANCOR is committed to building a sustainable health care delivery system that will be adequate to support the lifetime of care that many people with disabilities need. We oppose "one size fits all" solutions such as Medicaid block grants or per capita caps, and invite conversation with our federal and state partners on ways to increase the efficiency and quality of health care services.
People with disabilities rely on access to quality, affordable health care. People with significant disabilities may have more intensive health needs than the general population, and it is critical that our health care system is responsive to those needs. As states look at ways to manage costs and build efficiencies in their health care delivery systems, ANCOR works to ensure vital resources remain allocated to serve people with significant disabilities.
